The Nebraska Power Farming Show is the second largest indoor farm show in North America, with 400,000 square feet covered by 2302 booths across five buildings.  Equipment on display includes that for irrigation, hay and forage, grain storage, seed handling, livestock, fertilizer and more.  The show also features various educational seminars.

Morgan Leefers awarded FFA Scholarship



Stutheit Implement Co., and John Deere are proud to award Morgan E. Leefers; daughter of Mike and Jeni Leefers a $2,000.00 FFA Scholarship. Morgan belongs to the Syracuse FFA Chapter, and will attend the University of Nebraska - Lincoln where she will major in Animal Science. This will be the 4th consecutive year that Stutheit Implement has partnered with John Deere to sponsor a scholarship. Well done Morgan!!

 

Courtney Clark awarded FFA Scholarship

Stutheit Implement Co., and John Deere are proud to award Courtney Clark; daughter of Shawn and Julie Clark a $2,000.00 FFA Scholarship. Courtney belongs to the Auburn FFA Chapter, and will attend the University of Nebraska - Lincoln where she will major in Pre-Vet/Vet Medicine or Sciences. This will be the 4th consecutive year that Stutheit Implement has partnered with John Deere to sponsor a scholarship. Well done Courtney!!

Agriculture Safety Day Camp

Todd Zimmerman & Mark Badertscher (Auburn sales) recently demonstrated Ag Safety to approximately 150 5th and 6th graders from Pawnee City, Humboldt Table Rock Steiner, Johnson Brock, Johnson County Central, Sterling and Freeman public schools. Pinch points and blind spots were also discussed. Other topics discussed were rescue squad, rollover accidents, fire department, state fire marshall, reaction timer, gun safety, disability awareness and hearing safety. Each student received a tee shirt along with a bag of other safety reminders from the days topics. Todd has been providing this service to area youth for approximately 17 years. Mark has also been demonstrating ag safety to local youth for the last 9 years. Well done guys!

CO-OP Student Isaac Buss graduates with distinction



 

CO-OP student Isaac Buss graduated from the J.D. TECH program @ S.C.C. Milford campus on Friday, March 17th, he graduated with the highest distinction and a 4.0 GPA. Instructor Jeff Slafter presented Isaac with the Alden J Jindra Memorial Fund Award for having the highest GPA.  Isaac will start as a full time Service Tech at our Auburn Dealership on Monday, March 20th.

Todd Zimmerman speaks with Auburn H.S. FFA students

Recently, Todd Zimmerman (Auburn Sales), spoke with a group of students from Auburn High School's FFA “Intro to Ag Class”, regarding careers in agricultural structure and technology as well as agricultural business. He also explained how GPS units are used in our day to day business, education requirements, and explained what we as a dealership do on a daily basis. Todd ended his presentation with a question and answer segment.
